Surgical Services

Our surgical treatment for breast cancer delivers excellent results, and is suitable and recommended for clinical or cosmetic objectives:

• Breast conservation surgeries: to treat small breast cancer tumours and eliminate the need for complete breast removal.
• Sentinel Node Biopsy: to minimise arm swelling and pain arising from auxiliary node removal. This is done during surgery for breast cancer.
• Breast Reconstruction Surgery: done post-removal of complete breasts, using advanced techniques to make new breasts reconstructed with implants or body tissue.
• Advanced Cosmetic Surgery: breast augmentation or reduction, and Mastopexy (Breast Lift).
• Oncoplastic Surgeries: advanced, less invasive techniques for precise cancer targeting with minimal scarring and maximum cosmetic care.
• Scarless Surgeries: small benign adenomas can be removed completely without leaving any scar and without general anaesthesia using a vacuum-assisted breast biopsy system on a daycare basis.

Systemic Therapy for Breast Cancer Treatment

We offer multiple medical modalities for breast cancer treatment, including chemotherapy and targeted therapy. All these modalities are suggested to a patient according to the particular stage and biopsy of cancer.

Radiation Oncology

• DIBH (Deep Inspiratory Breath Hold): in DIBH, because of full lung expansion, the heart gets pushed away from the chest wall, reducing the radiation dose received by the heart by 50-70%.
• APBI (Accelerated Partial Breast Irradiation): short-course, high-dose radiotherapy delivered to the partial breast or tumour bed area for a select group of patients with early-stage disease.
• Interstitial Implant Brachytherapy: specialised Nylon catheters are inserted in the tumour bed cavity during primary surgery and radiotherapy is started on the third postoperative day.

A type of breast biopsy that helps locate small abnormalities like microcalcifications and areas of architectural distortions that may represent early malignancy, and provides samples for diagnosis from these clinically non-palpable abnormalities.
